He is back from a short trip to Germany for his treatment I his torn right knee that has been injured. But he still supports his team even without his presence in the court; Bryant sat on the bench in their team’s exhibition game last October 6, 2013 against Denver Nuggets.
“I haven’t said anything (about a return date),” Bryant said. “I just keep it all open right now. I don’t know why you guys so hell-net on deadlines. It’s like the most ridiculous thing to me. It’s entertaining. When I’m ready, I’m ready.” Bryant added that he’ll need roughly three weeks of conditioning to get back I shape, his usual allotment for a return from any extended layoff. The Lakers’ season begins on October 29, 2013 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
When the time range to spare in preseason, Bryant has a chance to travel to Germany for another round of the platelet-rich plasma treatment designed to stimulate recovery in aging joints. He’s been gone at least on three surgeries for his knees for over the past decades.
Bryant has been in near fast recovery on his Achilles tendon after he had season-ending surgery last April. He’s grateful that finish line is in sight even he still not available and ready when Lakers open the regular season. #
