Many of our generation right now are very intelligent or higher in IQ. People know so much nowadays especially with the help of our technologies. But don't we know that we are eaten of what we think, of what we know already? There's so called Ethics that some believe is connected with intelligence or knowledge and which we forget because of this power of thinking. It may feel so good to have a power through our knowledge, it may feel so mighty for us to know everything but little we did know that it's driving us one way or another.
This kind of power, force, skill or whatever they may call it is raging. It is powerful, transforming and it may also destroy us in so many ways. Lifestyles were now affected by this knowledge of people wherein helps us also to have an easy living. Even this knowledge that we have is used as a label for us people around the world for which I also believe that it is truly visible that many excels now in the world with the help of their way of thinking.
But is it really defines and labels us, the people in the world? How we stand and what is our level in the society? For me, NO. We're only people and have different ways of thinking and we can't predict oneself. And that what makes us unique and different from one another. But how about those who are not so excelling in these things? So we just use this free power to them?
In my own point of view and in some point, knowledge complicates everything. Why? Because it demands explanations of everything after which Scientific Method exist to prove such persona. But haven't you thought that it's tiring already and many questions will pop out in your mind making you more curious or frustrated. And more visible to be only the wrong things are more noticed rather than the great idea of the thing, often times.
But how it affects us people in the world? Almost of the man-made things in the world are truly evident and product of knowledge by the people who are gifted in their fields. Thanks to them for making our lives easy now in the new generation. All credits given to our Greek philosophers down to modern scientists.
And people as we are, we are abusive to the things especially if we knew that's powerful. Just like this knowledge that we are talking about. We use this thing already to overpower other people, to bully them, to destroy them, not just only people but also the non-living. Some making this as a standard for people as an exclusive and in high rank.
And of course, ''just because'' you knew most of everything, people would expect too much from you, that you know what you are ought to do, that you would excel in this and in that but what if I fail? What if you will fail? How will be the people who expect too much from you? This kind of situation really makes me insane and angry. Yes, of course you SHOULD know but we are just people, we fail and commit mistakes. We are tempted and often times we follow it. But does that really define us? The mistake of omission? Not doing what we are ought to do?
We are just people who commit mistakes even if we knew almost of everything. Even the scientists experienced many failures in their tests or experiments before they caught and produced the right invention/product. But some think of us being so failure of not doing such things that made them disappointed. It's hard also because some of us tried so hard to reach those standards but then got nothing. People will only use this mistake against to the person who committed it, thinking they're much better rather than correcting and teach him the right way in a respectful manner, without getting him offending or hurt.
But over all, committing mistakes is where we really learn. For me, it's much better to know about life than academics because it's what we really deal in everyday. But as we commit and learn, let us strive to be better next time and prove oneself again to others that we can do it. Failures are more than to teach than to destroy. You just need to pick up ourselves and think for the better. Because we are gifted of such, we may think of others for the better of them using our gifts, our knowledge. And remember God always especially in Proverbs 3;5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Not also because, it's okay to make mistakes, we are doing it always already. Word hard, pray hard. Strive for greatness! :)
